Volunteers Needed!!!!

Classroom Lead —   The class lead help to manage the classroom the day of the event.
Scheduled class walk-a-thon time with 20 minutes before and after. To assure the children have water and snacks after their race time. - 1 per class

Each class arrives on the blacktop
Each class shows their spirit
They warm-up with their class
We take a group photo under the balloon arch
They walk/jog for 20 minutes on the track, and get a jelly bracelet for each lap completed.
They line up on the blacktop, and the Class Lead tallies all of the jelly bracelets, by student, for the class. 

Classroom Helpers/ Lap Tallys - to assist with counting wrist bands within the scheduled class race time. Also needed are volunteers to be counting the bracelets of each child.

Spectator Spirit: We need a volunteer to come up with fun ways for our family spectators to cheer on the walkers, and at the same time, to keep them safe and off the course! We could use someone to plan spectator spirit, and to manage crowd safety the day of the event.

Spritzers -

Volunteer as a “spritzer” —  Bring water bottles and spray the kids as they go by. 

Event Set-up

Assisting with track set-up and event set- up.

Event Clean-up
Assisting with break down of the event

Photographers
Taking pictures of children. Add time slots of grades.

Write inspirational quotes and phrases along the black top portion of the course. Provide own chalk.
