Principal Ashton's Announcements
MDUSD's Homeless Outreach Program for Education (HOPE) is doing their annual holiday donation drive to support our homeless and foster youth students. They are asking for gift cards from the following types of places where students can make holiday purchases:
- Target
- Old Navy
- Generic prepaid credit cards
- Walmart
- GAP
- Gift cards to local restaurants
They are requesting card denominations of $25 or $50, with the amounts clearly marked, so recipients know how much is available to spend. Gift cards can be mailed or delivered to the below address: Mt. Diablo HOPE 2730 Salvio Street, Room 24 Concord, CA 94519 . Please send your donations by December 16, 2022. The HOPE program may be reached at (925) 682-8000 x3054 and hope@mdusd.org.

PFC Enrichment/Curtains Up Youth Theatre

Movie Night at Northgate
The Northgate Freshman leadership class is hosting a movie night for
K-6 graders at Northgate on Wednesday, 11/16, from 4:30-7:00 PM. Admission is $8/child or $12/family which gives you access to movie, food, drinks, crafts & games. Please bring blankets & chairs to sit on. See attached flyer for more information.

3rd Grade Parents - November is your Drive Thru month!
3rd Grade Parents: Please help us in the Drive Thru line as we open doors and greet students while they are arriving at school. As in previous years, we are having each grade level help out at the Drive Thru during specific months. We would appreciate 2-4 helpers each day. Can you help for 20 minutes in the morning, 7:40 - 8:00 am? If so, please sign up!

Lunch & Recess Duty sign-ups
We need parents daily to help supervise students during lunch and on the playground to make sure they play safely, as well as assist in cleaning the tables between student lunch shifts. All volunteers must be cleared by MDUSD to help at lunch. Sign-up HERE

Support the PFC and put a smile on your child's face! For $25.00, the greeting “Happy Birthday ‘Your Child’s Name’” will be on display on the Walnut Acres' electronic Marquee from 7am-9pm on your date of choice. Click HERE to purchase.
Is your child’s birthday during the summer? Consider a “half-birthday” greeting 6 months after their birthday.
The deadline for submitting an order is one week prior to your child's birthday.

Drive Thru Procedures
- Pull up to a volunteer for assistance getting your student out of the car
- Do NOT get out of your car
- Have your child ready (goodbyes said, backpack ready) to exit curbside
- Do NOT go around other cars if you are "empty"
- Do NOT park in the drive thru line
