Turn in Read-A-Thon Envelopes this Week!
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Read-A-Thon! We are still counting donations to see if we've reached our $30,000 fundraising goal. This fundraiser is a main contributor to sustaining PFC-funded initiatives such reading and math specialists, grade-level teaching assistants, science lab instructors, STEM and on-site technology instructor, and in-class art programs. We could not engage in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things we do at Walnut Acres without your generous donations. Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing support is truly appreciated!
All Read-A-Thon envelopes (with cash and check donations enclosed) need to be returned to school between Tuesday, Nov. 30th - Friday, Dec. 3rd. Prizes will be awarded the following week. To be eligible for a prize, reading minutes need to be recorded on each student’s envelope.
Thank you to everyone who purchased a Read-A-Thon gift basket raffle ticket! We will hold the drawing and announce the winner the week of November 29th.
