Report Cards: Many schools in MDUSD have moved in the direction of only posting trimester report cards on the Aries Parent Portal. Starting next Trimester, all Walnut Acres teachers will only post report cards online (no more printing them). NHS Broncos Boosters Annual Breakfast with Santa
Breakfast with Santa is scheduled for Sunday, December 18th from 9am-12pm at Boundary Oaks. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for self-taken photos from 9:30-11:30. Raffle for multiple NHS sports-themed baskets and toys of all ages to be held around 11:30, need not be present to win. Admission tickets can be purchased HERE and raffle tickets will be sold via credit card at the door! No reservations. Spread the word! Please send questions to stacyhallett@gmail.com

The Saint John Vianney CYO Track and Field
Like to run, jump or throw? Try Track and Field! The Saint John Vianney CYO Track and Field team is open to boys and girls in grades 2 through 8 who like to move, that live within the St John Vianney parish boundaries. Toy Drive
The Toy Drive benefiting Shore Acres Elementary is December 5- 9. Please drop off new and gently used jackets, toys and children’s books in front of the office. Please only donate items in very good condition that have all their pieces. We also need adult volunteers to deliver donations to Shore Acres in your minivan or SUV the afternoon of December 13th. Math Kangaroo
Last chance to register for Math Kangaroo contest: Discounted registration closes December 15th and all registration closes December 31st. The nation-wide contest takes place on March 16th with possibility to participate right here at Walnut Acres. Optional free practice sessions offered by site manager at Walnut Acres library starting December 2nd. 2nd Grade Parents - December is your Drive Thru month!
2nd Grade Parents: Please help us in the Drive Thru line as we open doors and greet students while they are arriving at school. As in previous years, we are having each grade level help out at the Drive Thru during specific months. We would appreciate 2-4 helpers each day. Can you help for 20 minutes in the morning, 7:40 - 8:00 am? If so, please sign up!

Lunch & Recess Duty sign-ups
We need parents daily to help supervise students during lunch and on the playground to make sure they play safely, as well as assist in cleaning the tables between student lunch shifts. All volunteers must be cleared by MDUSD to help at lunch. Sign-up HERE

Support the PFC and put a smile on your child's face! For $25.00, the greeting “Happy Birthday ‘Your Child’s Name’” will be on display on the Walnut Acres' electronic Marquee from 7am-9pm on your date of choice. Click HERE to purchase.
Is your child’s birthday during the summer? Consider a “half-birthday” greeting 6 months after their birthday.
The deadline for submitting an order is one week prior to your child's birthday.

Drive Thru Procedures
- Pull up to a volunteer for assistance getting your student out of the car
- Do NOT get out of your car
- Have your child ready (goodbyes said, backpack ready) to exit curbside
- Do NOT go around other cars if you are "empty"
- Do NOT park in the drive thru line
