Get Involved with the WA International Fair!

Join us on April 24 from 4:30–6:30 PM on campus for an evening celebrating the diversity that makes our community so special. Enjoy performances, games, food, and hands-on learning throughout the event, including the Parade of Nations, where students can proudly represent a country of their choice.

We’re currently looking for Country Ambassadors to host country tables, as well as photographer volunteers and helpers for event setup and cleanup. We rely on Country Ambassadors to make this event a success - Sign up HERE to ensure this special event continues in the future!

"Get It Done" Club - Starts April 14th!

Our free twice-weekly “Get It Done” Club, a supportive space where students can catch up on unfinished classwork, projects and homework, launches April 14th.  The club will meet Tues. & Thurs. from 2:35-3:20pm, and we’ll have dedicated Northgate student volunteers on hand to help.

We’re looking for parent volunteers to join us in providing encouragement, guidance, and an extra layer of support to help students stay on track and build strong work habits.

Whether regularly or occasionally, your time makes a difference so please join us!  Sign up here and help students “get it done”!

Get Ready for The Scholastic Book Fair!

The Book Fair will be held in the MUR the week after Spring Break, Tuesday, 4/14 – Friday, 4/17. Stop by the MUR to shop for the latest releases and hang out in the Book Nook.

Hours: Tues. 2:35-6pm; Wed. 1-5pm; Thurs. 2:35-6pm; Fri. 2:35-6pm

Help make the Book Fair a success by volunteering as a cashier or Book Nook supervisor. Shifts are available throughout the week. Sign up here

Give Back at Community Service Day! 🌻

Community Service Day will be held in 3 weeks on Saturday, April 18th from 8:30-11:30am. Come for some or all!

We will add another planter and benches to the D-Wing, sandboxes and mulch to the TK/K play areas and touch up the area around the school sign on Cerezo/Wiget. 

Come help make Walnut Acres better for our kids and meet other families in the process. Bring the whole family - there will be fun jobs for kids too! We recommend bringing work gloves, water and any of the following tools you may have: shovels, hoes, spades, wheelbarrows

🌼 Family Social Night at Calicraft Brewing Co.!

Join us Wednesday April 15th 5-8pm for a relaxed evening of community connection, spring sunshine, and good vibes at Calicraft! Bring the family, grab a drink, enjoy the outdoor space, and catch up with fellow Walnut Acres parents.

Members of the PFC Executive Board will be there if you’re curious about how to get involved or want to learn more about open PFC positions for next year — but absolutely no pressure. Just come enjoy the evening, say hi, and soak in the spring weather.

Sign up for Mathnasium, The Math Learning Center. 

Mathnasium will donate $10 EVERY MONTH to our PFC for each and every WAE student enrolled in their program. (This is not only for newly enrolled students. It’s for ALL enrolled students from WAE every single month.)  

Anyone and everyone can be a great math student, and expert help is right up the road at our local Mathnasium in The Orchards plaza.
