🖼️ The Open House & Art Show Are Thursday!🎨

This year, the two events are happening together on the same evening, creating a wonderful chance to celebrate both our students’ creativity and their classroom learning.

Art Show in MUR 5:30-7:30pm
Classrooms open 6-7pm
Make a night of it! Round Table & Mr. Softee also will be here 5:30-7:30pm

There are still volunteer opportunities to help set up the Art Show on Wednesday and break it down on Thursday night/Friday. Even if you can just come for a bit! Please sign up here!

Closing Weekend of CUYT's The Jungle Book! 🐒🌴

Don't wait to grab your tickets for this weekend's final performances of the CUYT 4th/5th grade production of The Jungle Book! Friday (New York Cast) and Saturday (London cast) at 7pm in the MUR.

And...our 4th graders will be selling concessions before the show to help raise money towards next year's Outdoor Ed. Show up and support them all!

Dine & Donate TOMORROW!

Wednesday, March 18th is our first-ever Dine & Donate night with Gott's Roadside in Walnut Creek!

Let's head out and support our kids in the most delicious way possible. Gott's is donating 10% of the entire day's sales back to Walnut Acres — and the best part? No flyer needed! Just show up and eat! 

Stop by anytime on Wednesday, March 18th — in person, online, DoorDash, or by phone — and every bite or sip you take helps support our Walnut Acres community.

Get Involved with the WA International Fair!

Join us on April 24 from 4:30–6:30 PM on campus for an evening celebrating the diversity that makes our community so special. Enjoy performances, games, food, and hands-on learning throughout the event, including the Parade of Nations, where students can proudly represent a country of their choice.

We’re currently looking for Country Ambassadors to host country tables, as well as photographer volunteers and helpers for event setup and cleanup. Sign up HERE!

"Get It Done" Club - Coming Soon!

We’re excited to announce our free “Get It Done” Club, starting this April! This twice-weekly free after-school club will give students a quiet, supportive space to complete classwork/projects/homework, get help, and build good study habits.

The Scholastic Book Fair is Back!

The Book Fair will be held in the MUR the week after Spring Break, Tuesday, 4/14 – Friday, 4/17.

The Fair is a great opportunity to build your child’s library at home while raising funds for Walnut Acres.

Book Fair hours and parent volunteer opportunities will be coming soon.

 Camp Galileo Gives Back!

Sign up for Mathnasium, The Math Learning Center. 

Mathnasium will donate $10 EVERY MONTH to our PFC for each and every WAE student enrolled in their program. (This is not only for newly enrolled students. It’s for ALL enrolled students from WAE every single month.)  

Anyone and everyone can be a great math student, and expert help is right up the road at our local Mathnasium in The Orchards plaza.
