Donate This Week to the Darcie Jones Book Drive!

The Darcie Jones Book Drive ends Friday! We are collecting new and gently used books for ages 11 and under. These books will benefit Shore Acres Elementary School. This year they are in need of English and Spanish books. If the book drive is big enough, we will continue to support "Books for the Barrios", a non-profit that has the goal of building libraries for children in need in the Philippines.

Please drop off donations by the office. Children’s books ONLY!

This drive is in memory of a Walnut Acres’ mom, Darcie Jones. We are trying our best to continue with her wish to support underserved children with access to books.

The Walnut Acres International Fair is on April 24 from 4:30–6:30PM on campus. Join us for a celebration of the cultures and traditions that make our school community unique. With performances, games, food, and interactive learning, there’s something for everyone.

Volunteers Needed!

🌱🥛New Bulk Milk Machine Launching!🥛🌱

Starting Wednesday, students will use a new bulk milk machine instead of individual milk cartons, reducing landfill waste and cutting down on milk waste since they can pour as much or as little as they’d like.

We need parent volunteers to help students learn the system during lunch periods this week and next week.

🖼️ The Art Show is Coming Soon!🎨

The Walnut Acres Art Show is coming up on March 19th and we need your help to make it a success.

This is a celebrated event showcasing artwork from all grades at Walnut Acres. It's free, non-fundraising, and non-competitive - just beautiful art made by the students!

We need volunteers to help us turn the MUR into a modern art gallery to display the art the students have made this year. Please sign up here!

Camp Galileo Gives Back!

Sign up for Mathnasium, The Math Learning Center. 

Mathnasium will donate $10 EVERY MONTH to our PFC for each and every WAE student enrolled in their program. (This is not only for newly enrolled students. It’s for ALL enrolled students from WAE every single month.)  

Anyone and everyone can be a great math student, and expert help is right up the road at our local Mathnasium in The Orchards plaza.
