Thanksgiving Food Drive
The Walnut Acres Thanksgiving Food Drive is Monday November 2nd – Friday November 6th. We will be gathering food and assembling baskets to benefit the families of Ygnacio Valley Elementary in need of extra support this season.
We are collecting donations of non-perishable food items (canned goods (meat, fruit, vegetables, beans, etc), dried goods (pasta, rice, beans, etc), cereals, peanut butter), gift cards (grocery stores/visa gift cards to allow a basket recipient to purchase fresh items for Thanksgiving), medium sized baskets, and handmade cards to spread some Thanksgiving cheer. Please no glass items or expired food items.
We are also looking for some volunteers to help us fill and wrap the baskets on Thursday November 12th. See details and sign up here.
Email communityservice@walnutacrespfc.net with any questions.
