Spirit Wear

Show off your Jaguar Pride with our 2023-2024 Spirit Wear! Check out all the Spirit Wear options featuring our classic "ROAR" and our new 2023-24 school themed  "Learn Grow Belong" designs. The PFC will be taking orders through  Friday, September 29th. Spirit Wear will be distributed in mid October. Place your order through the online store today!

Dine & Donate Next Tuesday!

Next Tuesday, September 26th is our next Dine & Donate night! This time, we’re heading to Jack’s Urban Eats in the Orchards Shopping Center to grab a meal and support our kids.
Stop by Jack’s or order online between 4-8pm. Mention you’re with Walnut Acres or use promo code JacksFun to send 20% of your order back to our school and to our kids!

Califcraft Social Night September 29th

Come join your fellow Walnut Acres families for a fun evening at Calicraft on September 29th from 4:30-7:30!  Parents can enjoy craft brews, while the kids play! Stop by and say hello or stay for the whole evening. There will be a food truck offering pizza for those who would like to purchase dinner.

The Cake Walk was one of the biggest hits at last years Carnival. Delight the kids with more rounds of Cake Walk by donating a dessert here or volunteer to MC the cake walk here.

Community Service Day 2023 is here!

Jaguar families mark your calendar for Saturday, Oct 14th for the annual Walnut Creek Community Service Day.  

Bring friends and family from 8:30am to 11:30am for a morning of celebration and service. There are outdoor projects around Walnut Acres for all ages, interest and ability!

Math Kangaroo (Grades 1-5)

Since 2018, Walnut Acres has hosted a Math Kangaroo contest for our students (www.mathkangaroo.org). This year, the competition will take place on March 21th, and there will be informal free after-school practice sessions for interested students starting in late fall/winter. If you would like to join the Walnut Acres Math Kangaroo community or learn more, please find “Math Kangaroo” in Social Groups on Konstella. This is where all updates, practice session schedules and materials will be posted.

Registration for students opened on September 15th. Details on how to register for participation at Walnut Acres are also posted to Math Kangaroo social group on Konstella.

5th Grade Parents- September is your month to host Drive-Thru!

5th Grade Families: Please help us in the Drive Thru line as we open doors and greet students while they are arriving at school. As in previous years, we are having each grade level help out at the Drive Thru during specific months. We would appreciate 2-4 helpers each day. Can you help for 20 minutes in the morning, 7:40 - 8:00 am? If so, please sign up!

And all of the Walnut Acres Dads and Grandpas, remember that Friday’s are for YOU!  Come help out at Drive-Thru line.  It’s an easy way to get involved in the school community!

Shark Tank Youth Competition: Hosted by Campolindo High

Introducing the first Contra Costa Shark Tank Youth Competition!  Win $1,000 to launch or grow your business. No idea is too small! Organized by the Entrepreneurship Club at Campolindo High, the competition is a fun way to promote youth entrepreneurship among K-12 students in Contra Costa County. When young people succeed as entrepreneurs, they improve their own lives while also contributing to the economic development of their local communities. Finalists will be selected by the Campolindo High School Entrepreneurship Club, and winners selected by a panel of judges on February 6, 2024 at the Lafayette Library. Deadline to apply is November 15th.
