Please do not eat in the MPR during the performance. Please plan to come and eat before or after the performance out in the courtyard or take the food home with you. Thanks for your support! 

 

 

1/12 UPDATE FROM WCMS STAFF 

 

Students should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled performance time. 
 
Students are encouraged to wear red clothes for the performance. They also are welcome to wear a Lunar New Year outfit if they have one. If they don’t have either of these clothing options, then they can choose to wear their school uniform instead.
 
Parents when arriving for your student's peformance, please use the back door (near the hallway) of the MPR to enter, and the front door (near the gate) to exit.
 
K-1 Parents: please bring your student in the MPR, and have them seated in the designated area with their class by 5:15 PM.Then, please seat yourself in the designated area for parents. (volunteers will also be present to help direct people to their seating areas).
 
2-5th Grade Parents: if you arrive early for your student's performance, then please wait in the courtyard before you are admitted to the MPR. Space is limited in the MPR, so we ask that parents not attend other grade level performances if their student is not performing at that time. Once the MPR is ready for parents to enter, please come in from the back door (near the hallway), and have your students seated in the area with their class animals. Then please seat yourself in the designated area for parents.
 
The 5th grade families are planning to make and sell Mexican food as a fundraiser for their field trip during this event.  They will be offering a small menu, drinks, and snacks.  Cash payment for food is highly preferred.

Dear families,

Let's welcome the Year of the Rabbit together with West County Mandarin School! We are excited to invite all WCMS families to grace our 2023 Lunar New Year concert that is happening on Tuesday January 17th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

 Our teachers and students are working very hard from now till then to put this together and it will be inspiring and encouraging for you to share this precious moment with them.

 There will be Mexican food on sale by our 5th graders' families as a field trip fundraiser so please come hungry -- just in time for dinner!

 There will be 3 separate performances in order of grade levels:

 Kindergarten/ 1st grade : 5:30pm to 6:00pm

2nd grade/3rd grade: 6:00pm to 6:30pm

4th grade/5th grade: 6:30pm to 7:00pm

 There is not enough room for the entire school in the cafeteria so the school asks that you are only present for the time period of your students performance.  Once it ends, please try to exit as quickly as possible so that the next group can get seated.  

 Please be at the performance based on the above timing to ensure you will not miss your child's performance.  However, the timing of each performance might differ by up to 15 minutes  as we need to allow time for the students to exit and enter the stage. 

 Please look for emails from your students' teachers about what time they will need to be present for the performance and what they will need to wear.  

 Please allow time for parking as families will have to park in the neighborhood and walk to the school.

¡Demos la bienvenida al Año del Conejo junto con West County Mandarin School! Estamos emocionados de invitar a todas las familias de WCMS a honrar nuestro concierto del Año Nuevo Lunar 2023 que tendrá lugar el martes 17 de enero de 5:30 p. m. a 7:30 p. m.

 Nuestros maestros y estudiantes están trabajando muy duro desde ahora hasta entonces para armar esto y será inspirador y alentador para ti compartir este precioso momento con ellos.

 Habrá comida mexicana a la venta por parte de las familias de nuestros alumnos de 5º grado para recaudar fondos para una excursión, así que venga con hambre, ¡justo a tiempo para la cena!

 Habrá 3 actuaciones separadas en orden de niveles de grado:

 Jardín de infantes/primer grado: 5:30 p. m. a 6:00 p. m.

2do/3er grado: 6:00pm a 6:30pm

4to/5to grado: 6:30pm a 7:00pm

 No hay suficiente espacio para toda la escuela en la cafetería, por lo que la escuela le pide que esté presente solo durante el período de tiempo de la presentación de sus estudiantes. Una vez que termine, trate de salir lo más rápido posible para que el siguiente grupo pueda sentarse.

 Esté en la presentación según el horario anterior para asegurarse de que no se perderá la presentación de su hijo. Sin embargo, el tiempo de cada actuación puede diferir hasta en 15 minutos, ya que debemos dar tiempo a los estudiantes para que salgan y entren al escenario.

 Busque los correos electrónicos de los maestros de sus alumnos sobre a qué hora deberán estar presentes para la presentación y qué deberán usar.

 Permita tiempo para estacionar ya que las familias tendrán que estacionar en el vecindario y caminar a la escuela.

让我们和西郡国语学校一起迎接兔年！ 我们很高兴邀请所有 WCMS 家庭参加我们于 1 月 17 日星期二下午 5:30 至晚上 7:30 举行的 2023 年农历新年音乐会。

 我们 5 年级学生的家庭将出售墨西哥食品作为实地考察筹款活动，所以请饿着肚子来——正好赶上吃晚饭！

 将按照年级顺序进行 3 场独立表演：

 幼儿园/一年级：下午 5:30 至下午 6:00

二年级/三年级：下午 6:00 至下午 6:30

四年级/五年级：下午 6:30 至晚上 7:00

 自助餐厅没有足够的空间容纳整个学校，因此学校要求您只在学生表演的时间段内在场。 一旦结束，请尝试尽快退出，以便下一组可以就座。

 请您按上述时间准时到场，以免错过孩子的演出。 但是，每场表演的时间最多可能相差 15 分钟，因为我们需要让学生有时间离开和进入舞台。

 请查找来自您的学生老师的电子邮件，了解他们需要什么时间参加表演以及他们需要穿什么。
