Hello WCMS families,

The school board members will be voting on the “West County Mandarin School Satellite Campus at Adams Middle School Project” at the Board of Education Meeting on Wednesday, June 24th at 6:30pm. This project is for the expansion of WCMS to the former Adams Middle School site located about a 1/2 mile from our school’s current location. The goal is to expand our campus for the 2021-2022 school year.

We need WCMS parents that can speak during Public Comment at this meeting. (This meeting will be held using Zoom.) Everyone that attends this meeting is encouraged to provide public comment, even if it is to just say a few words such as, "Please approve the Initial Project Budget for the West County Mandarin School Satellite Campus at Adams. It is very important for my child and family that we stay in this central location by opening this satellite campus at Adams."

You will need to be on the Zoom session at 6:30pm when the meeting starts:

We won't know until the meeting starts if the Board will change the order that our agenda item is heard. (Currently, we are listed under item F. Action Items, #8. Approve the Initial Project Budget for the West County Mandarin School Satellite Campus at Adams Middle School Site and Approve the Site Investigation Contracts.) Please make sure to include the best email address to reach you, so we can send you updates and reminders up to and during the meeting. This meeting will provide public comment opportunities through the Zoom app or by telephone. To indicate your desire to speak on an agenda item, “raise your hand” by clicking on the appropriate icon in the Zoom app or by pressing *9 if accessing the meeting by phone. In order to be recognized to speak, your hand must be “raised” before public comment begins for the item.
