Be In The Know
With no parent volunteers on campus this year, we are relying ENTIRELY on West families to submit photos. Please send us photos of your students participating in school activities (virtual learning, art in action, spirit days, Bingo night, etc) - especially if you have never submitted yet! We would like to include EVERY WEST STUDENT in the yearbook, and it's only possible with your submissions! Also if your student missed picture day, please send us a photo. Email to WestPix2020@gmail.com!
*Weekly Covid Testing
We are incredibly lucky to have available weekly Covid testing for students. Test Pick-ups will continue to be on Wednesday mornings & Test Returns on Thursdays by 1:15pm, both at West. For OmeCare Nasal tests, please try to register your tube online first. If you are unable to activate the test kit, you may print and fill out the paper form (pdf attached) and include it in the biobag with your test.
West Wear blow-out sale - EVERYTHING IS 30% OFF! We are opening a new store with a new vendor later this school year, so current supplies must go! We still have lots of youth t-shirts, hoodies and baseball shirts on hand. And we'd love to see your Wildcat show off our school colors, so please order your "vintage" WestWear today while supplies last! West Wear Store
*Hillsborough Sschools Foundation
is more important than ever this year. West is currently at 72% participation, which is awesome, but we can do better! Thank you to all who already have contributed! We are just 21 families away from 80% and really want to get to 90% so we can get an additional $5,000 of extra funding for our school! Every little bit helps! Please consider making your contributions today at HSF.org!
Thank you to Flora Chen, Sue Yeon Choi & Annie Tan for organizing West's 3rd Annual STEAM Expo! And thank you to more than 110 K-5 students who signed up to take on this challenge! Thank you WPG event chairs Wendie Leung and Becky Leao and volunteers for festive Lunar New Year decorations on campus. And as always heartfelt thank you to all West volunteers for continuing to make West BEST! Please look for many other volunteer opportunities coming up on Konstella, including 5th Grade Promotion. Start thinking about next school year as well! Thank you!
