Let's have our last service learning project of this school year show just how big our hearts can be during this unique time that we are all going through.
During spring break, it is a great opportunity to talk to your child about the sacrifices some people are making during this time most of us can shelter in safety. Please encourage your student to make thank you cards for our front line workers in our community's medical field. There will be a collection box (no touching needed, so please INSTRUCT your child to drop the card into the box without touching anything) outside the West office starting TODAY April 7-April 24.
We are hoping to collect a large amount of cards to bring a large amount of smiles to all those doctors and nurses and hospital staff helping us all get through this through their sacrifices.
Also keep your eyes out for information on "West Big Heart" Spirit Week the week of April 20th with a fun service learning idea for each day of the week to show our big hearts and send our thanks and love to others.
We're all in this together!
