Greetings Parents!

This year our school will once again participate in the Box Tops for Education Program. My name is Katherine Liu and I’m excited to be coordinating this for West Valley Elementary!

Box Tops are 10¢ coupons which can be clipped and collected, and are an easy way for you to help our school raise money. Each Box Top is worth 10¢ and they quickly add up for real cash for our school. Over the past 5 years we have raised approx. $1,200 annually.

For those of you who don’t know what they look like or where to find the Box Tops, they can be found on the top or bottom of most major brand packaged products. The coupon looks like this:

The most common brands are:

General Mill Cereal Boxes                        Lysol Cleaning Products                          Kleenex

Ziplock Bags                                                      Scott’s Cleaning Products                      Yoplait Yogurt Boxes

Annie’s Certified Organic Foods           Mott’s Apples Sauces                                Nature Valley

Fiber One                                                            Hefty Tableware & Waste bags

The entire list of participating products can be found here: http://www.boxtops4education.com/earn/participating-products

There are also coupons available for participating products - visit:

Each Box Top has an expiration date, so please pay attention to the date when clipping Box Tops.

There will be multiple campaigns this year and our first one is going on NOW and closing Friday, December 1st. The top 3 classes with the most Box Tops will win popsicle parties.

Simply locate the Box Top coupon, check the expiration date, clip them, and send them to school with your child(ren).  There is a collection box in each of the classrooms. To make collecting a little more fun, attached is a collection sheet which you can place on a board or refrigerator at home to help remind family and friends to collect and clip the Box Tops.

Another resource to help collect Box Tops is by using the Box Tops Bonus App on your mobile devices. Turn your everyday receipts into cash for West Valley. It’s free and as easy. You can earn Bonus Box Tops in the Box Tops Bonus App in combination with the on-pack Box Tops clip and any other coupon, discount, store program or promotion. Click the link to download the app:

Let’s start clipping! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly through Konstella. I’m here to make West Valley’s Box Tops program a huge success.

Thanks for your help in advance!
