Update--- Fun for students: Show West Valley teachers our support!
Thu, Aug 20 7:42pm

Dear West Valley Families,

We're planning to send the first set of student written acrostic poems to teachers on Monday.  Thanks to all of the students that have already submitted their work.  If your student would like to submit a poem or drawing, please see the info and link below.

We would like to suggest a fun way to show our West Valley teachers our support.

Please consider having your student write and decorate an acrostic poem using the word TEACHER, where each letter begins a word or phrase describing their idea of a teacher.  Please see the examples below.  Poems may be hand drawn or done using a computer or tablet.  We encourage your student to sign their work and put their grade level, but it is not required.

Poems can be submitted as images here, and will be distributed to the WV teachers in a digital photo album.  We ask that you submit your poems by 8/20 so we have some poems to share with the teachers as distance learning is getting under way.  For technical issues with submissions, please contact Loreena Lee (Loreena@gmail.com).

If your student is not interested in writing an acrostic poem, we are happy to accept any type of drawing or poem as a submission to the album.

Thank you!
