WV Yearbook: April 6-10 Submit Photos of Students during School Closure
Mon, Apr 6 3:06pm

Dear West Valley Families,

First of all, we hope you’re all hanging in there. It seems like every day, there are significant changes because of the coronavirus. We hope your families are doing ok and finding your own ways to keep your spirits lifted during these times.

Second, despite school being closed, the 2019-2020 West Valley yearbook is almost finished. But, we need your help to complete the last page. At such a unique time in our children’s lives, we feel it's important for the yearbook to include the impact of the coronavirus on the school experience. For one week only, we've re-opened the photo submission link and we're asking parents to submit photos that show how West Valley students are spending their time during the school closure. Possibilities include: doing distance learning, playing a game, reading a book, helping around the house, or anything they’re doing to fill the days.

Please submit all photos by Friday, April 10.

Please keep in mind:

  • Photos must feature West Valley students only. Photos can include a single West Valley student or siblings that are all West Valley students. However, we unfortunately can’t include parents or siblings that aren’t West Valley students.
  • The rest of the yearbook pages are complete - so we don’t need any photos on topics other than how the students adapted to sheltering at home.
  • We can’t guarantee that all photos will be used. We will feature as many as we can.

We know how disruptive and unsettling the last few weeks have been for all of us, but we’ve also heard heartwarming stories of the special time students have been sharing with their families. We’re hoping to catch some of those stories in the yearbook -- thanks for helping us with your photo submissions.

Best,

West Valley Yearbook Committee
