WVPTO Direct Donation Drive: Two weeks left to donate and a chance to win exciting prizes!
Fri, Apr 1 11:28am

If you have already donated to our campaign, THANK YOU for your support! As of today, we have raised just over $50,000, about 40% of our $125,000 goal. We still have a long way to go! Your donations fund vital programs and support staff at West Valley such as: Art, C-Lab, three instructional aides, reading and math intervention materials, technology support and infrastructure, additional hours for our librarian as well as classroom and library books, and enrichment programs (such as Project Cornerstone). Your donations will help ensure WVPTO can continue to fund these programs for the 2022-2023 school year. We also hope to bring back the Multicultural Festival, Family Science Night, Movie Nights, and Running Club, but we can’t do it without your support.

Classroom competitions are back!

As announced at this morning’s Community Gathering, help us reach our fundraising goal of $125,000 by April 15 and your kid(s) will have a chance to win one of these cool prizes:

The CLASSROOM WITH THE HIGHEST PARTICIPATION rate as of Friday, April 15th will win a donut party for the entire class! As of March 31st, the classroom rankings are:

  • 1st place –  Mrs. Erikson (Room 30)
  • 2nd place –  Ms. Mercik (Room 10)
  • 3rd place – Ms. Chang (Room 2)

It’s a very tight race with several classrooms less than 1% behind for 3rd place! Every donation counts!

The GRADE LEVEL WITH THE HIGHEST PARTICIPATION rate by Friday, April 15th will win a Kona Ice party! As of March 31st, the current grade level rankings are:

  • 1st place – Second Grade
  • 2nd place – Kindergarten
  • 3rd place – First Grade

Finally, if we reach our $125,000 donation goal by Friday, April 15th, all students of families that have donated to this year’s Direct Donation Drive will be entered into a random drawing. The prize??? One lucky student from each participating classroom will have the opportunity to THROW A PIE IN THE FACE of a teacher or Principal Bernstein at the April Community Gathering.

Please tell your children about these exciting incentives and show your support by making a donation today if you haven't already done so.
