We are still looking for a few people to help with some Wednesday shifts and Thursday open house shifts. Please consider giving a bit of your time, so that we can make sure the book fair is open for our West Valley students and families! 

Shifts vary in length/day of the week. Please consider carving out some time to help. We know our West Valley students LOVE the book fair, and we can't make it happen without your help.

Dear West Valley Parents

We are pleased to announce that our school will be hosting a Spring Scholastic Book Fair, which will take place from May 15 to May 18 in the GLC.

Volunteers are crucial to the success of this event. We hope that you can offer your time and talents to help students discover how the power of books can bring us together.

We need parent volunteers for the shifts listed below. 

The tasks include:

• Book Fair Setup/pack up - moving bookshelves, stocking/packing books, setting up tables, placing signs up around school; setting up cash registers, setting up/taking down displays
• Cashiers and line helpers will help check out books, count coins and help kids select books or answer questions. 

Please sign up quickly so that your preferred time slot is not taken!

Some volunteer slots are short so please feel free to signup for back-to-back slots if you have the time. 

All volunteers have to complete the CUSD volunteer requirements to be on campus. Please refer to the volunteer requirements document for more details.
