Spring seems to be here to stay. West Valley has a long tradition of using our outdoor garden to enhance science education with hands on experience. How about planting a little garden with your classroom? Please talk to your teacher! Just as last year, the gardening effort will again be parent driven but will be teacher supervised/directed during regular instruction time.
No previous gardening experience is required. This is a great opportunity for "an experiment!” Our garden/science lead Veronika will be there to help. You can find her in the garden every Thursday from 2:10 to 3 pm starting next Thursday, February 15th. You can also email her with questions or sign up directly on Konstella in the Garden/Science Program Committee: https://www.konstella.com/app/school/52ed386b03642fe28f2b79f5/committees/5352bcb2e4b01f5e8e234544
