Garden Program 2023-2024

Committee Lead(s) needed in order to revive the Garden Program!! Once a lead and additional general helpers are in place to organize this program, we can expand the signups to look for garden representatives from each classroom.

TBD -- Classroom Garden Facilitators: Assist your classroom teacher in using the garden as a place to learn. Garden-based learning provides hands-on experiences in several subjects. Science comes first to mind but you can think of math (counting, comparing, plotting charts), social studies (Native American crops, crops evolution through history) and esthetics (garden bed planning, beautifying the school grounds). Discuss with your teacher what they would like to grow or come up with your own ideas.
