Project Cornerstone 2022-2023

By volunteering just 2-3 hours per month, Project Cornerstone volunteers build relationships with students by reading selected books and leading classroom activities and discussions with a focus on respect, caring, and friendship. Children learn what to do if they encounter bully behaviors and how to become an UPstander. Training, materials, and instructions are provided to allow volunteers to lead sessions with confidence!

Our goal is to have at least one reader in every classroom, but some classrooms end up with many readers and others have no readers. If you are interested in reading, but your child's classroom is already full, please let the committee lead know. We'd love to have your help with reading in another classroom.
