Running Club

Run! Walk! Skip around the track in the Running Club!!How exciting to see students running/walking on the track during this optional structured activity.

The running club takes for 1st-5th graders during lunchtime recess. Students can run or walk as many laps as they like. Each lap receives a lap card scan. 4 laps equals a mile. Students will receive different awards when they ready 1, 5, 10, 15, 25, 35 and 50 miles.

Award teams prepare the awards for runners who reached certain milestones. The team is also responsible for buying the awards and managing them.

This team is to promote the program and encourage students to participate. His/her job includes: - Communication with teachers to report the status - Report the status and cheer up the students at the monthly community gathering - Throw a party after the program is concluded

DB admin is to manage our runner DB. This includes adding/deleting runners, making corrections and generating reports every week.
