The Whiting Lane Parent Teacher Organization held its first meeting on Thursday, September 11th in the school library. Thank you to the parents, board members, teachers, and staff members who attended in person or virtually! Mark your calendars for our next meeting on Thursday, October 9th, 2025 at 6:30 pm in the school library. We hold meetings on the 2nd Thursday of every month. Child care is available during our meetings. Please join us!

This year the annual PTO fall fundraiser, Fall into Fun, will be a family-friendly event! This carnival-themed picnic will take place at Whiting Lane School on Saturday, October 18th from 11 am - 3 pm. The PTO is currently looking for auction item donations if you or someone you know has a good or service to offer. The next Fall Into Fun planning meeting is on Sunday, September 28th at 7:00 pm at the Tapper Residence - 74 South Highland St.  

Food Pantry: Each week, the Whiting Lane Food Pantry provides bags of groceries to Whiting Lane families in need. We are currently looking for community members to support this meaningful work and there are a number of valuable ways you can contribute! If you are interested in grocery shopping, bagging food, donating shopping bags or cash, or if you'd like to learn more about the program, please contact foodpantry@wlpto.org or click here to donate directly. Any way you can help is greatly appreciated!

Ski & Snowboard Club: Would your family be interested in participating in a Ski & Snowboard Club on Wednesdays at Ski Sundown in January & February 2026? Our PTO is trying to gauge interest, so please email shayna.j.quinn@gmail.com for more details and if you think your family might participate. There will be an online, informational meeting held on Tuesday, October 7th at 7 pm.
