Dear Whiting Lane Families,

We’re excited to share some fun news—this fall, we’re combining two beloved events into one big Whiting Lane celebration!

Some of you may have noticed that the “Welcome Back Picnic” is missing from our list of school events. Don’t worry, it hasn’t disappeared! Instead, it’s being joined with our fall fundraiser to bring you the Fall Into Fun Family Carnival and Picnic.

All are welcome to attend! Admission is free, and the PTO will provide music for dancing, a dedicated play area for younger kids, and professional face painting. Bring a picnic blanket and choose your favorite spot to enjoy a meal you pack from home, or purchase something tasty from the food trucks on-site.

Tickets will be available for purchase to enjoy the inflatable fun we have in store! Games, slides, challenges of agility and strength, a human slot machine, and bounce houses will all be there. Tickets can also be used to enter the in-person raffles with tons of great prizes to win!

And of course, our Fall Into Fun Auction is back! The committee has been hard at work gathering a variety of amazing items and experiences for you to bid on. In the past, families have won rides to school in a fire truck, “Principal for the Day,” teacher-hosted experiences like painting in the library or special outings, passes to local attractions, and much more!

We can’t wait to come together as a school community, share a meal, and make memories with you all.
