For over 40 years, the West Hartford Scholarship Fund has been awarding scholarships to students who collectively represent our district.  Last year, the West Hartford Scholarship Fund was able to award scholarships of $1,980 each to five very talented and deserving students.  One of these students was a Whiting Lane Alum!

 

Each school has a representative that serves on the WHSF scholarship selection committee, as appointed by our PTO.  The representative is our school's voice in the evaluation and determination of scholarship winners . They will read the applications and rate them.  Each school gets one representative to participate and at the end after a brief discussion the winners are selected.  This year we are looking for a new Whiting Lane representative- this could be you!
