Hi. Hello. We are officially 16 days out from Spring Fling (March 7, 6–10pm at Stone Way Auto), and things are getting very real.

First: THANK YOU.
We hit our community + staff sponsored ticket goal 🎉 That means 30 tickets are covered so staff and community members can join the party. If you’re a community member who’d like to use a community-provided ticket, please email president@whittierptaseattle.org or connect with the front office team for details. 

Now. The math. We need to sell:

• 42 more tickets to break even on venue + catering

• 27 more discounted advance drink tickets to break even on alcohol + food supplies

Breaking even is not our vibe. Thriving is our vibe.

- Featured auction items (some mildly unhinged, all excellent)

Our Class Art preview is also Friday, February 27th after school on the blacktop. While you're previewing everything, don't forget to heart your favorites so it's easier to find your must-bid and must-buy items day-of.

And yes—you can bid even if you can’t attend on March 7. Every dollar helps us move toward our $90,000 goal to support essential staff and services at Whittier.

This fundraiser is how we continue investing in things like daily specialists—something many neighborhood schools don’t get. Spring Fling matters. Like, deeply.

🍰 Dessert & Snack Dash = Class Glory

We’re doing a Dessert & Snack Dash this year where classes compete for sweet (and savory) supremacy. If you’re planning to attend, coordinate with other families in your class so your adult crew shows up ready to win.

Competition is healthy. Especially when sugar is involved.

🌱 The Big Picture

Spring Fling isn’t just a party (though it is that). It’s how we fund the staff and programs that make Whittier special. We’re counting on this event to exceed our goal so we can confidently invest next year in the things that directly support our kids.

So:

   3. Opt into text notifications for outbid and other key updates during the event

   8. Profit (well, Whittier will and you'll get some sweet stuff, too)
