Beye School PTO Newsletter
MARCH 2026
Dear Beye families,
What a fun-filled February! Thank you so much to: David Kessler, the speaker at our community meeting, and to Torine Pasek for inviting him; Jackie Gelman and Kellee Lewis for organizing the Spring Book Fair; Eranthie Mendis and Leigh Merkey for organizing the staff conference meal and to everyone who contributed food or helped with set up or clean up; Betsy Leong, Audrey Wojtonik, and Sharon Wong-Hughes for organizing the Lunar New Year celebration and the volunteers who made that possible; Eboni Hawkins for organizing the Black History Month celebration, and those volunteers as well. It was wonderful to see so Beye families taking part in the community celebrations.
Looking ahead to March, we have a Family Roller Skating Night on the 12th, together with Hatch and Whittier. I'm really excited to see our NEOP community come together! We also have the sold-out Mahjong fundraiser, a Dining for Dollars at Candycopia (owned by a former Beye family), and, looking a little further ahead, the Pancake Breakfast in April. And, while we're thinking spring, don't forget to brighten up your garden or porch with an order from the Beye Plant Sale!
- Molly Greenwood-Whalen, PTO President and the 2025-2026 PTO Exec Board
