Did you know that Willow Glen Elementary has a Garden Team?

🌻 The garden space and program wouldn't exist without the financial and volunteer support of the PTA and our community, and this year we are looking to rebuild and refresh the team. If you are creative, love working with your hands, or enjoying being outside, the garden team is for you! And the best part is...it is very flexible! Whether you have time each week or once a year, we could use you! Consider joining the Konstella group, learning more at the PTA volunteer meeting on September 15th, or emailing Katie Settle directly, katie@settlescience.com.

🌱 Roles on the Garden Team may include:

• A garden team lead
• A special projects lead
• A composting parent lead
• Twice monthly Thursday morning garden care team
• A master gardener
• A native garden expert
• A teacher
• An admin representative

💚 The WGE Garden Team helps support Settle Science and integration of outdoor learning with the curriculum at the school site. The team also helps with ongoing maintenance of the garden and outdoor classroom for the entire school community to enjoy. 💚
