Did you know?
- WG5K t-shirts are school uniform approved
- Race medals awarded to the top 3 finishers (m/f) in each WGE grade during a special awards ceremony
- A fun Kid Zone awaits at the finish line—games, crazy hair station, and more!
- Strollers and scooters are welcome, and many participants walk the course
- Proceeds go directly to the PTA, supporting programs like Recess 101

Come see your student’s art showcase on Tuesday, May 13, from 5:00–6:30 PM in the cafeteria.

Blood Drive for Shania
As many of you know, one of our 4th graders, Shania, was diagnosed with leukemia in February. While Shania is doing well and handling treatment like a champ, we want to come together as a community to support the hospital caring for her.
We will be hosting a blood drive on May 18.

Tigers Celebrate: PTA Year-End Party at Hapa's Brewing
Join fellow WGE parents, teachers, and supporters as we wrap up an incredible year of supporting our school! We'll kick things off with a quick 30-minute meeting, then shift into celebration mode.
Enjoy snacks and non-alcoholic drinks while we reflect on this year's accomplishments—from the Fall Festival to the Walkathon, Art in Action to Science Night, we’ve done amazing work together!
Beer and dinner will be available for purchase, and Hapa’s is generously giving 10% back to our school on all beer sales.
Kids are welcome (with parent supervision, of course). Let’s come together to celebrate our community and the volunteers who made it all possible!
