The WGE Garden invites the school community to participate in the creation of habitat in the school garden by planting a multi-layered mosaic of native plants!  We are expanding the native garden and could use your help. There is currently a healthy upper canopy of trees with an ecologically dynamic understory that we began planting last year. Now we are planning on adding a section of California chaparral with native shrubs and other sun-loving, drought tolerant plants.

Please join us to support this hands-on, place-based educational resource! The event will be on Sunday, October 15 from 1-4 pm. There will be free snacks, tools, and some outdoor toys like balls/frisbees (the playground will not be open during that time). We look forward to seeing you there!
