Interested in volunteering but don't know where to start? Fill out the volunteer interest form at this link to help us connect you to volunteer opportunities that match your interests, skills and time available.
When you express interest in a particular area, we'll forward your name and contact info to the event or program lead, who will reach out when they need help (note that it might not be right away, depending on the timing of the event or program).
Other volunteer updates:
- We're looking for volunteers for the Walk 'n' Roll committee, which encourages walking and biking to school as a means to improve safety and encourage exercise. The first meeting is Thursday at 1:30 in the school office. Contact Cori Wilser here on Konstella or at email@example.com.
- We need a parent to manage A/V equipment at PTA events, like the Harvest Festival and Tree Lighting. No expertise required - we can train you! Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you can help.
- Join us for Volunteer Orientation Night on Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 6 p.m., beginning in the Garden next to Lincoln Avenue. District staff will be on hand to conduct fingerprinting for anyone who wants to volunteer in the classroom - read the instructions for that here.
Please contact our volunteer coordinator, Julia Casto, here on Konstella or at email@example.com with any questions about volunteering.
FUN FACT: Our families contributed more than 30,000 hours of volunteer time last year — that's 3,750 full work days! Our school is so much better for our kids, families and teachers because of YOU.
