Calling All Students!
Want a fun way to win $1000 for your school? Want to win a class party with Ms. Patten? Do you want to run, play and bike along Lincoln Blvd with NO cars? This is your chance!
Come out for Viva Calle SJ on Sunday September 18th. Join the fun anytime from 10am - 3pm. This is not a race. There will be 6 miles of car-free streets. Check out this map and come explore the city. You can bike, scoot, walk. Bring your dogs, your strollers! Visit just one block or all 6 miles of open streets. You can jump into the route from any point, but we highly recommend starting at the Willow Glen Hub - right across the street from WGE (Minnesota & Lincoln).
Here are some of the activities planned especially for kids along the route:
Japantown Hub: Origami Classes, Classic Bike Build and Show, and Kids Dance Performances
Burbank Hub: Bike Helmet Giveaway, Bike Rodeo, SJ Kids Bike Party Ride (Starting at San Carlos/Lincoln at 11am), Mobile Mountain Bike Track, Bounce House, Obstacle Course, Games and Crafts
Willow Glen Hub: Hicklebee’s Book Reading, Kids Zone featuring Sharks/Barracuda Inflatable Game and Library activities.
Checkout facebook.com/VivaCalleSJ for videos and more information about each of the Hubs and entertainment along the route!
ATTENTION! To help us win $1000 for your class and a class party with Ms. Patten, follow these simple steps:
- Attend Viva Calle SJ
- Stop at one of the black and yellow information booths at any Hub to get your School Challenge Card
- Fill out the card and return it to your teacher on Monday September 19th.
