WGE Opera Performance and Free Dress 

It’s a dressy Free Dress Day for students seeing the Opera on 11/18 and 11/19. Your free dress day corresponds with the date your grade is seeing the performance. 

• 11/18 - TK-1st & 4-5
• 11/19 - 2nd-3rd

November PTA Meeting

Our last PTA meeting of the calendar year (we usually cancel the December meeting) is being held in the Library at 7 pm on Tuesday, 11/19. Childcare will be provided. 

4th Annual Week of Gratitude 

Next week is WGE’s Annual Week of Gratitude. 

• Write a note or draw a picture for your teacher or staff on campus - deliver anytime during the week.
• Donate canned goods and nonperishables to the WGE student council. Canned goods will serve our Tiger Cares families on campus this holiday season. Deliver to the office anytime during the week.
• Peanut butter
• Canned soup
• Canned fruit
• Canned vegetables
• Canned stew
• Canned fish
• Canned beans
• Pasta (most prefer whole grain)
• Rice (most prefer brown rice)
• Teachers and staff will be treated to coffee and treats on Thursday, Nov. 21st. Sign up to help HERE!

Scholastic Book Fair 

Volunteers Needed for Book Fair during Tree Lighting!

The annual Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Willow Glen Elementary the week after Thanksgiving, December 2-5. We are still in need of volunteers, particularly during the evening of the Tree Lighting Festival, Thursday, December 5 from 6 to 8 pm. We have created one-hour shifts so that volunteers will still be able to enjoy the event with their families! This is a very fun and easy event, so please consider signing up on Konstella here!
