Scholastic Book Fair 

Volunteers Needed for Book Fair during Tree Lighting!

The annual Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Willow Glen Elementary the week after Thanksgiving, December 2-5. We are still in need of volunteers, particularly during the evening of the Tree Lighting Festival, Thursday, December 5 from 6 to 8 pm. We have created one-hour shifts so that volunteers will still be able to enjoy the event with their families! This is a very fun and easy event, so please consider signing up on Konstella here!

Tree Lighting

On Thursday, December 5th, residents will gather to witness the illumination of a magnificent 100-foot tree, continuing a celebration that has become a cornerstone of local holiday memories. The Annual Tree Lighting event is a cherished tradition that dates back to before 2008! The evening promises to delight all:

• Vibrant performances by the Tiger Theater Folklorico Program and Glee Club
• Local food favorites from Fire & Rice, Chicken Bros, and a festive Churro Truck
• Complimentary hot chocolate to warm the evening
• Family-friendly games and crafts
• A magical countdown to tree lighting

More than an event, this is a celebration of Willow Glen's enduring community spirit. We can't wait to see you there!
