YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS our PTO Meeting on Monday!  We will be meeting at TORG Brewery at 8421 University Avenue, in Spring Lake Park.

PTO is providing free appetizers to welcome parents and thank our volunteers!  We will also be opening nominations for our 2022-2023 Board (see info about positions below-and reach out if you'd like to be nominated or have any questions.)

Come at 5:30 to order your drinks (not provided by PTO) and to meet SLP school board member Sam Villella.  Meeting will take place 6-7pm...hang out after!

Current Positions/Duties include:

President: Lead monthly Parent Teacher Meetings, Lead monthly Board Meetings, Lead monthly meeting with staff

Vice-President: Plan 3-4 Dine-to-Donate events throughout the  school year

Secretary: Take minutes at meetings as able to attend, create newsletters/thank-yous with  president

Treasurer: Keep track off all transactions, prepare monthly report for meetings, help with reimbursements/purchases

Volunteer Coordinator:  Maintain Konstella database, create posts for volunteers as needs arise, communicate with/help recruit  committee chairs

Social Media Coordinator:  Create posts on Facebook/Twitter for events/volunteer opportunities

Board members also plan/run the FUN RUN in fall and attend two additional monthly meetings: with board (currently 4th Monday night) and with school staff (currently 4th Wed lunchtime)
