PTO is very excited to host a Family STEM night with The Works Museum Wed. Feb. 26th.
We will need volunteers to be at each of the 10 stations from 5-7 pm. Volunteers should plan to attend orientation given by The Works Museum from 4:30-5 before event, no matter which shift they are working. If you are able to volunteer the whole night (preferred by museum) sign up under each shift.
Volunteers will get to choose station on night of event-and laminated instruction cards are available at each station for families. You will be helping answer simple questions,( like "How many divers to I get to make?" and, "Are there more wires? and make sure no one is taking supplies away from station table, or acting inappropriately, and probably picking up things that fall onto the floor and putting back onto the table.
4th grade students (who will be finishing a unit on Engineering around this time ) are also going to be asked to volunteer to help explain stations to other people, but we need an adult at each station as well.
The Museum will do all set up and clean up.
Thanks for Volunteering!
