PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Don’t forget to come to the Harlem Wizards basketball game on 11/6 at the High School.  It is a fun-filled night with Mrs. Euker and other staff playing against the Wizards!  Check the Methacton web site for more details. 

 

Starting 11/13, Kindergarten ONLY will start their new special rotation schedule.  A communication went out from the district last week and Kindergarten teachers will send home their new schedules.

 Mother/Son Bowling on Nov 4 at 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Facenda Whitaker Lanes

$8 per person includes pizza, drinks & shoe rental.

ELECTION DAY BAKE SALE- NOV 7

Calling all Bakers and People with a Sweet Tooth! Woodland is having an Election Day Bake Sale next week, November 7th! Please bring any of the below suggested items to school on Monday, Nov. 6th by 3:00 p.m.  OR  drop off at 1044 Shearwater Drive, Audubon by 8:00 p.m. Cakes, Breads, Pies, *Muffins, *Cupcakes, *Pastries, *Brownies    *Cookies (bags of 3-5) Please bring items wrapped or *sliced and individually wrapped.  Be sure to label with recipe name and potential allergen warnings as necessary (i.e. Peanut Butter Bars, contains peanuts) ~~Don’t Bake but want to help?~~ We need volunteers to staff the Bake Sale Table on Tuesday, Nov. 7th in 1-2 hour shifts: starting at 7am through 5pm.  If you are able to help us, it would be greatly appreciated.  Please contact me at laurie_schatz@hotmail.com. VETERANS DAY ASSEMBLY- NOV 10

It’s that time of year again when our entire student body is involved in honoring all branches of the Armed Forces. Our music teacher, Mrs. Engler, has been working with the children to prepare for this every special event! On November 10th, guests can arrive at 1:40pm so that they may be signed in and seated. Please park in the playground parking lot and enter near the gym. Please join us for a brief reception following the celebration. BINGO NIGHT- NOV 10

Woodland Elementary Bingo Night, Nov 10 from 6-8pm in the Woodland Gym. Cost is $5 per player with advanced purchase ($8 at the door). Pre-Order Dinner Get 1 slice of Vinnie’s Pizza & Bottled Water for $2.50. Extra Bingo Cards & Stampers will be available for purchase. Doors open at 5:30pm and Bingo starts at 6pm. ·     We need your Box Tops! Keep them coming! Label your childs envelope or zip lock bag with their name, teacher and grade. Bins have been provided in each of the teachers classrooms for the Box Tops.

TOLIETRY COLLECTION

Each year Woodland does a toiletry collection for Women’s Bridge, a resource center for families. Families are able to obtain toiletry items monthly. This year we will be collecting the below mentioned items until the end of October. I ask that each grade bring in the specified item for their grade level. Thank you in advance for your participation.

Kinders – toothbrush or toothpaste

First – bar soap or body wash

Second – deodorant

Third – shampoo

Fourth – conditioner
