Fun Day - Calling all volunteers!  Fun day is in need of many volunteers.  Please see the attached form.

4th Grade Field Trip

Attention 4th grade parents, hopefully by now you have all signed and returned the 4th grade field trip form for Friday May 18th (rain date Friday 5/25/2018) 4th grade social/picnic at Eskie Park.

We will have DJ, games, crafts, face painting, hotdogs, tomato pie, snacks, fruit, veggies, treats and drinks but need some help with all of that.

We also need volunteers to help set up, stay for the day and clean up.

The more help we have, the more we can do for the kids.  We would appreciate if you could sign up below and we look forward to seeing you there if you are cleared volunteer and can sign up ahead of time.

It would be great if the kids can wear their 4th grade T-shirts they received at Pillow Popcorn and Pajamas and since they have the class names on the back some kids may like to sign them as well that day.  I do have some extras, please let me know if you want to purchase them at $9.

Please email with any questions and the signup is below.

A Message from our Principal

I hope everyone has a happy and restful Mother’s Day.  The staff and I want to thank everyone who donated to the Staff Appreciation Luncheon.  Every Woodland employee was well fed for two days!  We were all humbled by your generosity.

Thank you to everyone to participated in, organized, and/or attended the Variety Show last Friday.  It was so amazing to see how much talent Woodland has.  Congratulations to all our performers!

Please remember to return the Car Line form if next school year you plan to pick your children up from school four times a month or more. This will help with our efficiency in September.

Tuesday is an election day and Woodland is a voting site.  Please be cognizant of this during drop off and dismissal.  We will use the first gym door instead of the second as you are pulling into the school.  Please be patient.

Wednesday is Field Day.  This occurs during the school day and is intended for students.  However, if you have already made plans to attend, you must sign in through the office with your license.  Please make sure your child has sunscreen on before school. Also, remember to send a labeled water bottle in with your child.  Students should wear a T-shirt that is the color of their team.  Be sure to ask them who won the Tug-of-War.

Thank you for all you do to make Woodland amazing.

A Message from Mrs. Malloy

Field Day is on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.  Students are asked to bring a bottle of water marked with their name.  Sunscreen should be applied at home and students may bring a hat and/or sunglasses for added sun protection.  Students must wear sneakers and are encouraged to wear their team color, which is either green or white.

Team sheets will be posted in each classroom so all students know what team they are on.  Notes will be sent home for kinders.

Thank you for your cooperation!
