HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!

Parent Volunteer Breakfast

The parent volunteer breakfast, hosted by Woodland staff, is being held on Wednesday, May 30th at 8:15am.  If you volunteer at Woodland (whether it's on a regular basis or on occasion) - this event is for you!  We realize that sometimes papers don't get from desk to backpack or backpack to home!

ALL volunteers are welcome so if you have not yet already responded to the attached form, please send an e-mail to Mrs. Yocum  (tyocum@methacton.org).  We provide babysitting if you wish to bring your child along.  We look forward to seeing you on the 30th!

Fun Day - Tuesday, JUNE 5th  (Rain Date: Wednesday, June 6th)

Visitors are not permitted. The only way to experience the Fun Day is to volunteer. All volunteers must have their appropriate clearances and be approved according to district policy.  **If you already signed up with the paper form, you do not need to sign-up electronically.  Thank you.

Note: in order to enjoy the inflatables, students must return the waiver sent home this week.

Please make other arrangements for siblings as the Fun Day is strictly for Woodland students only.

A Message from our Principal

Field Day was a huge success!!  Ask your child which activity was their favorite.  There were so many to choose from.

Please continue to send back the car line information if your child will be picked frequently next school year.

This summer is a great time to get your clearances for those parents who still need to do so.  All the information needed for this process is on the Methacton website.

There will be math practice information posted on Woodland’s web page.  Check it out this summer.

Please make sure you have signed the waiver for your child to jump on the bouncers on Fun Day.  This is a district requirement.

I know this time of year is crazy.  Please continue to check your child’s book bag for important school information.

Remember, next year we will be going green and all forms and information will be on our web page.

A Message from Ms. Trautmann

Band sign-ups for current 3rd and 4th graders are due back to school on Friday, June 1.  See attached form.

A Message from the Methacton Education Foundation

Parents, please LIKE the MEF Facebook Page and help expand our possibilities!

Did you know?

The Methacton Education Foundation provides supplemental funding for innovative educational programs and initiatives to enrich student learning.

The paradigm of public school funding has shifted.  Public schools can no longer solely rely on traditional funding sources such as taxes or state and federal aid.  In order to survive this shift, we must work together with philanthropic individuals, corporations, and institutions to provide the Methacton School District with resources and opportunities to succeed.

We believe that if we work together we can CLIMB HIGHER.

Thank you for your continued support!
