The Woodstock Garden and Trees are grateful for all the volunteers that care for them over the summer!
But the Garden Committee is still looking for a few more volunteers especially to water the trees!
Mr. Hunter is hoping to have 4 volunteers for each month to help with watering. Given the number of trees, he'd like to have each person only responsible for watering half of the trees every two weeks during the month they've signed up for.
Help to Care for the Woodstock School Garden and Our School Trees
The Woodstock School Garden and its trees continue to thrive thanks to community support and volunteers. Please consider signing up for a week to water our school garden. Volunteers will be able to take home produce from the garden and any excess can be donated to a local food pantry. Of course, the amount of care that the garden will require during any particular week will also greatly depend on the weather. It could be as often as every couple of days if it is really hot or every 3 days if it is relatively cool.
