The following committees are still in need of volunteers:

Yearbook, Maker Fundays and Thursday Packets.

If you are a cleared volunteer and would like to volunteer your time and talent please contact Taj Davis (tajbdavis@gmail.com).

Yearbook: attend school functions to take photos of students for the yearbook. Also help Yearbook Committee Lead select photos and design the yearbook.

Maker Fundays: help to shape the students' experiences with STEAM! Shifts are one hour long and are held in the library under Mrs. Cherry's leadership. 

Thursday Packets: sign up for an hour of volunteering on a Wednesday to put together the packet of forms that are distributed to students on Thursday. 



REMINDER – The last day for Safety Rangers is Wednesday, November 15th. Parents are invited to attend the Safety Ranger graduation at 4:00 pm that day.



Come join us for a showing of CARS 3 on Friday, November 17th at 6:30 pm. Wear your PJ's, bring your pillows and blankets!! FREE popcorn and lemonade. Every moviegoer will get a ticket for funsize FREE candy.  This event is open to all students, staff, teachers and families of Worcester Elementary. 



Please consider donating to Worcester Student Council's Food Drive!! From November 13th-22nd we are asking Worcester families to bring in items to donate to Methacton's Backpack Program and to needy families for the holidays. Please bring contributions to the main lobby. 



All families need access to the Parent Portal to review report cards. Please remember to set up your Parent Portal account in PowerSchool. Learn more about PowerSchool and find resources to create your account and download the mobile app on the Methacton website at https://www.methacton.org/powerschool



Please join us for a Celebration of the Arts presented by the Methacton School District Music and Arts Department. The event will be held at the Arcola Auditorium on Friday, November 17. This wonderful show involves performances from the staff and student artwork. There is no fee to come but donations are encouraged. Donations help provide scholarships to two deserving students.



Parents/Guardians are invited to visit your child's classroom to observe the instructional program at our school on Wednesday, November 15th. If you are planning to visit your child's classroom, please review the schedule below: 

9:30 am - 10:45 am  or 1:00 pm to 2:45 pm

Visitors should limit their stay to a maximum of 30 minutes in each classroom to allow other parents to enter classrooms which may otherwise become overcrowded. 



The Special Education Alliance of the MCC (SEA) is having its next meeting on Monday, Nov 27 from 7:00-9:00 pm in the High School Library. The SEA meetings are an opportunity for parents and guardians to connect, and to decide on topics and events that would be most beneficial to the Methacton special needs community.

Methacton High School’s Multicultural Club is hosting a “Kids Night Out” event on November 17th from 6:00 – 9:30 pm at Methacton High School. Proceeds benefit the well-known charity, Doctors Without Borders. The event is held for children in grades K-6. Registration is preferred but not necessary. Families will have the opportunity to purchase spiritwear onsite for conferences on Tuesday, November 21 and Wednesday, November 22. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, check or credit.



November 20, 21 and 22 will be half days to accommodate parent teacher conferences. Kindergarten students WILL NOT attend school on these dates. Students in grades 1-4 will be dismissed at 11:45 am. Regular lunches will be served according to the following schedule:

10:30 - 11:00

10:50 - 11:20

Fourth Grade Lunch

11:00 - 11:30

Third Grade Lunch


Keep sending in your TerraCycle recycling.  Please refer to your guide and send in ONLY the items listed.  Water bottles, juice bottles, cereal boxes & cans should be placed in your home recycling bin and placed out for your trash company.
