WALK A THON

Thank you to the many volunteers, students and teachers who helped to make this year’s Walk-a-thon a success. Please remember to send in your donations. Donations are due by Wednesday, 11/08/2017!

 

LAST DAY FOR HALLOWEEN CANDY DRIVE

Worcester Student Council would like to remind families that the last day to bring in candy for the Halloween Candy Drive is Monday, 11/6. Candy collection cans will be in the main lobby.

 

VETERAN’S DAY ASSEMBLY – FRIDAY, 11/10

Please have you children wear either red, white and blue OR camouflage to honor our Veterans.

Please remember to set up your Parent Portal account in PowerSchool. Learn more about PowerSchool and find resources to create your account and download the mobile app on the Methaction website at https://www.methacton.org/powerschool

 

CELEBRATION OF THE ARTS

Please join us for a Celebration of the Arts presented by the Methacton School District Music and Arts Department. The event will be held at the Arcola Auditorium on Friday, November 17. This wonderful show involves performances from the staff and student artwork. There is no fee to come but donations are encouraged. Donations help provide scholarships to two deserving students.

 

SPECIAL EDUCATION ALLIANCE

The Special Education Alliance of the MCC (SEA) is having its next meeting on Monday, Nov 27 from 7:00-9:00 pm in the High School Library. The SEA meetings are an opportunity for parents and guardians to connect, and to decide on topics and events that would be most beneficial to the Methacton special needs community.

KIDS NIGHT OUT - UPDATED
Methacton High School’s Multicultural Club is hosting a “Kids Night Out” event on November 17th from 6:00 – 9:30 pm at Methacton High School. Proceeds benefit the well-known charity, Doctors Without Borders. The event is held for children in grades K-6. Registration is preferred but not necessary. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided (please note dinner will not be served). Click here to pre-register

LADIES AUXILIARY CRAFT FAIR 
Craft Fair at Worcester Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, November 11th from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm (rain or shine)

Ladies Auxiliary of WVFD is hosting a Fall Craft Fair. Join us for a day of shopping for the holidays. Our Show features a raffle from the crafters/vendors, free photos with Santa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., a Hoagie Sale ($8.00 per hoagie) and a variety of other food. RECYCLING NEWS
Keep sending in your TerraCycle recycling.  Please refer to your guide and send in ONLY the items listed.  Water bottles, juice bottles, cereal boxes & cans should be placed in your home recycling bin and placed out for your trash company.
