HALLOWEEN CANDY DRIVE
Worcester Student Council is sponsoring a Halloween Candy Drive. Please support several local shelters and community centers in Norristown by participating in our 10th annual Halloween Candy Collection, November 1-6. Please donate some of your favorite candy! Feel free to send in bags of candy or just separate pieces. Candy collection cans will be in the main lobby.
HOME & SCHOOL MEETING
The monthly Home & School Meeting will be held Wednesday, 11/1 at 9:30 am. This meeting is open to all teachers and parents/guardians of Worcester Elementary School students.
LASER LIGHT SHOWS AT THE PLANETARIUM
Mark your calendars! The Laser Light Show has been scheduled for Friday, December 1st. Sales from concessions and a portion of ticket sales will benefit Worcester Home & School. Stay tuned for information on purchasing tickets for the event. Please see show times below:

KIDS NIGHT OUT
Methacton High School’s Multicultural Club is hosting a “Kids Night Out” event on November 10th from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at Methacton High School. Proceeds benefit the well-known charity, Doctors Without Borders. The event is held for children in grades K-8. Registration is preferred but not necessary. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided (please note dinner will not be served).
LADIES AUXILIARY CRAFT FAIR
Craft Fair at Worcester Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, November 11th from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm (rain or shine)
Ladies Auxiliary of WVFD is hosting a Fall Craft Fair. Join us for a day of shopping for the holidays. Our Show features a raffle from the crafters/vendors, free photos with Santa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., a Hoagie Sale ($8.00 per hoagie) and a variety of other food. SPECIAL EDUCATION ALLIANCE (SEA)
Join us for our next SEA Meeting on October 30 in the library at Methacton High School, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. We will kick off the meeting with an introduction of Dr. Angstadt and Dr. Gravinese. Following Kris Koberlein, MCIU Training Consultant, will give a presentation on, An Introduction to Secondary Transition. It's never too early to prepare for this transition. Keep sending in your TerraCycle recycling. Please refer to your guide and send in ONLY the items listed. Water bottles, juice bottles, cereal boxes & cans should be placed in your home recycling bin and placed out for your trash company.
