Announcing Breakthrough Montessori's annual SHA-sponsored FIELD DAY!
On Friday, June 9 at Takoma Field #1, Primary students (along with their guides/assistants) will participate from 10-11:30 AM, and Elementary students (upper and lower--also with their guides/assistants) will participate from 12:30-2:50 PM.
Activities will include:
Egg Spoon Race
Burlap Sack Race
Water Bucket Transfer
Pizza Box Agility
Freeze Dance
Nature Scavenger Hunt
In order to run a successful event for the students, we need volunteers who are excited to spend a few hours outdoors to lead the simple, planned activities and to help encourage students along the way. This should be a lot of fun, and it will only be possible with your help!
Primary Class volunteers (8:45am-11:45am)
Primary Class Field Day: 10am-11:30am
Elementary class volunteers (12:00pm-3pm)
Field Day: 12:30-2:50
In addition to volunteers for the Field Day events, we are also looking for a few donated or borrowed items to use in Field Day activities. Check the sign up below to see if you have something the students could use!
