Hello Breakthrough Families! Happy back to school.

We are thrilled to welcome familiar and new faces to our wonderful community.

In advance of the new school year, for which we have many fun and engaging opportunities with which to become involved, the School Home Association Executive Committee has prepared a draft of the SHA budget for this coming school year. In order to plan any events—from teacher appreciation to a fall festival to a fundraiser—we need to approve the budget at the first General SHA Meeting, which is scheduled for Friday, September 8 at 8:45 AM at Takoma Beverage Company. (More information on the meeting and agenda to follow shortly).

Please review the budget here and feel free to leave any questions and/or comments directly on the Google document itself. We will respond to those comments in advance of the vote at the September 8 meeting, which we hope will be heavily attended.

Estamos encantados de dar la bienvenida a caras conocidas y nuevas a nuestra maravillosa comunidad.

Antes del nuevo año escolar, para el cual tenemos muchas oportunidades divertidas y atractivas con las que participar, el Comité Ejecutivo de la Asociación de Escuelas y Hogares ha preparado un borrador del presupuesto de SHA para el próximo año escolar. Para planificar cualquier evento, desde reconocimiento a los maestros hasta un festival de otoño y una recaudación de fondos, debemos aprobar el presupuesto en la primera reunión general de SHA, que está programada para el viernes 8 de septiembre a las 8:45 a.m. en Takoma Beverage Company.
