Chadbourne Family and Faculty Association (CFFA) Pioneer Pledge
We're so grateful for the generosity shown by everyone who has donated so far - thank you! 

If you haven't had a chance to contribute yet, there's still time to make a difference. Every donation, big or small, helps us reach our goal. Please check below for more details on donating:

Donations can be made online (via Konstella or PayPal), by check, or through employer payroll deduction.
Suggested donation is $225 per student:
•⁠  ⁠$100 goes to your child's classroom/grade-level activities.
•⁠  ⁠$125 funds school-wide CFFA-sponsored activities like assemblies, subscriptions, math contests, art and music programs, and technology upgrades.

Volunteering for Activities
•⁠ There's nothing quite like seeing your child's face light up when you're part of their school experience. Volunteering is a wonderful way to connect with your child's world, meet other families, and make a real difference in our community. If you haven't joined a committee yet, we'd love to have you - there's a spot for everyone, no matter how much time you can give.

What's coming up: Exciting events on the horizon:
•⁠  Stargazing night: Spot a visible planet, or some bright stars. A fun and memorable hands-on experience for the kids!

•⁠ Math Olympiad 2026 - 2027:  
    - CFFA sponsors and conducts Math Olympiad (MOEM) for 4th and 5th grade students. 
    - CFFA team working with Committee chair to plan for either a In Person event or Online event
    - Parent volunteers please signup to assist with event and scores for each test
    - Tentative schedule:
        * 1st Test: Nov 18th
        * 2nd Test: Dec 9th
        * 3rd Test: Jan 13th
        * 4th Test: Feb 10th
        * 5th Test: Mar 10th
    - More info to follow soon.

Konstella volunteering committees open to join:
Board / Leadership committees:
•⁠  ⁠English Language Advisory Committee: This team advises on programs and services for English learners and helps build stronger family-school connections. For more details, please see the Principal's newsletter, Chadbourne Chat.

Community committees:
•⁠  ⁠Noon Duty Supervisor Team (2026–27): This is a one-hour-a-day position, with the possibility of additional hours for talented individuals. Please reach out to the school office or email Mr. Wood if you're interested.
•⁠ Picture Day (2026–27): Fall Picture Day is happening on September 22, 2026. We have two Picture Days each year — one in fall and one in spring. A professional vendor comes on-site to take pictures of the kids, and we need volunteers to help organize each event. These take place on a school day and require you to be onsite.
•⁠  ⁠Hospitality (2026–27): CFFA sponsors different events throughout the school year to show our appreciation to teachers and staff. We need volunteers to help organize these events.
•⁠  Yearbook (2026–27): Every year, we publish and sell a school yearbook. We need volunteers to collect and compile content and pictures. No prior experience required.
•⁠  MOEMs (2026–27): CFFA sponsored Math Olympiad for 4th and 5th Graders

Fundraising committees:
•⁠  ⁠Spirit Wear (2026–27): Facilitate the sale of Chadbourne Spirit Wear (shirts, hoodies, jackets, etc.).
