Looking for activities for your student after the school day ends? Hammer is excited to offer a variety of after-school enrichment programs throughout the 2026–2027 school year!

📚 HOW AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS WORK

Hammer will offer three after-school enrichment sessions during the 2026–2027 school year:

🍂 Fall Session: September 14–December 4
❄️ Winter Session: January 4–March 19
🌷 Spring Session: March 22–May 21

Our goal is to offer two programs each day whenever possible — one indoor and one outdoor option.

Programs begin promptly at 3:05 PM. Ending times vary by program.

Students enrolled in an after-school program will be sent to the main office, where they will be picked up by their program provider. At the end of the program, students will be dismissed near the main entrance of the school.

⚠️ IMPORTANT SCHEDULING INFORMATION

After-school programs run in 8-week sessions and are held ONLY during weeks with five full school days.

That means:

If there is a holiday, minimum day, school break, or other shortened school week, there will be NO after-school enrichment programs that week.

Please pay close attention to the program dates and the SJUSD school calendar when planning.

🍂 FALL AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Fall Session: September 14–December 4

There will be NO PROGRAMS during the weeks of:

• September 28–October 2
• October 26–30
• November 9–13
• November 23–27

Our Fall offerings include:

🛹 Monday — Skateboarding

🎾 Tuesday — Tennis

♟️ Wednesday — Chess
⚽ Wednesday — Soccer

🧪 Thursday — Mad Science
🏓 Thursday — Pickleball

🧠 Friday — Knowledge Quest

Indoor programs are generally held in Room B-12, and outdoor programs are held on the field.
