This social group is meant for the parents of incoming kindergartners for the 2022-23 school year.

This group is for families who have a kinder child that will be attending Hammer Montessori School in the 2023-24 school year.

Moms, Dads, Grandparents, and Guardians are welcome to join our 2x a week (sometimes more) Walking Group. Parents meet near the flag pole after kids walk through the courtyard gate at drop off, and head to walk around River Glen Park, whether one time around or 4x around. 2 laps equals a mile, and the group often aims for 2! Tuesdays and Thursdays are the consistent walking days for most parents.

Dedicated group for 2025 - 2026 Project Cornerstone Volunteers

This Konstella group is a shared space for Hammer families to stay informed and engaged around SJUSD’s Schools of Tomorrow process, including proposed options related to school consolidations, closures, relocations, and campus restructuring. Families may use this group to: • Share district-provided information and updates related to Schools of Tomorrow • Post links to official materials, meeting recordings, or district communications • Share letters, petitions, or coordinated feedback opportunities for parents who wish to participate • Ask clarifying questions and support one another in understanding how proposed options may impact Hammer Montessori and our shared campus with Ernesto Galarza Elementary As of now, no final decisions have been made by the district. Proposed options under discussion include scenarios in which Hammer may relocate, remain on campus with additional students, or remain while Galarza closes and boundaries are redrawn. This group exists to support transparency, information-sharing, and thoughtful community engagement as the process continues. This is an informational and collaborative space. We ask that discussions remain respectful and focused on sharing verified information and constructive opportunities for involvement. We are navigating this together as a community, and staying informed is an important part of that process.
