Hammer Families!
We’re so excited for our upcoming Walk-a-Thon! This special event is all about our students—giving them a fun, active, and memorable day with their classmates. Families are warmly invited to attend, cheer on their walkers, and celebrate together as a community!
What to Expect:
Students will be walking at their own pace, setting personal goals, and enjoying time with friends. This is a student-centered event, but your encouragement from the sidelines makes it even more special! Feel free to bring a lawn chair and pick a spot on the course to cheer them on!
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO 🚶♂️💛
- T-Shirts (Thursday): Teachers will hand out the annual Walk-a-Thon t-shirt to their students at the end of the day.
- T-Shirts (Friday): Please have your student wear their Walk-a-Thon t-shirt to school. If there’s a sizing issue, bring it to the event and we’ll do our best to exchange it.
- At School Dismissal: Please pick up your student at their regular dismissal location.
- Check-In: Once you have your student(s), head to the blacktop and visit the check-in desk to check in and pick up your student's lap counter.
- Water: We will have a water station, but please bring a labeled water bottle for your student.
- Walking Time: Students may walk as long as they’d like (until 5:00 PM) or until they reach their personal goal or complete their lap card.
- Flexible Attendance: Feel free to come and go as needed—you’re welcome anytime!
- Pets: For everyone’s safety, no pets are allowed on campus during the event.
We are so close to meeting our fundraising goal of $25,000! Hammer students have already reached two of the 4 rewards! We just need another $8,000 to unlock the Pizza Party and Popcorn and Movie afternoon!
