Hammer students will help add flair to Hammer Montessori  School’s Luna Chalk Art Space!  Please read below for details before signing up.

San Jose’s Annual  Chalk Art Festival is in a month, all are welcome to attend! HMS has already reserved two  sidewalk squares, one for a formalized design and the second square will be available for all the extra doodles kiddos want to free draw in.  This is NOT an on campus activity therefore SJUSD volunteer approval is not required. 

Parent Artists Needed

This year we are looking for 2 parent volunteers to work together to design one PEACE themed art and draw it out in one of the two squares. These two parent volunteers would have to show up before the start of the Festival to create our HMS PEACE design for students to shade in parts within reach around the edges of our square.

Student Artists

Students are invited to sign up to help fill in the HMS PEACE art or, doodle in our second square!

Please pick a preferred time for your child to help be apart of the completion of the HMS PEACE themed art square or create their own art!

***Parents, be sure to bring:

~folding chairs

~personal water bottles

~some snacks to share

~pop up canopy for shade just in case it's hot
